About Me
DanP
I'm Daniel Pappas — a sports videographer and photographer based in South-East Queensland, working mostly in surf lifesaving.
These days the majority of my work is on the sand and in the water — carnivals, nippers, iron and board racing, and club training sessions. Early starts, long lenses, and the split-second moments that decide a race.
Video is where most of my focus sits now. I shoot and cut highlight reels for clubs and athletes — the kind of footage that actually gets watched and shared, not just filed away. Photography still runs alongside it, across surf lifesaving, triathlon and mixed sports.

All prices are in AUD. Travel within 30km of Gold Coast included. Custom quotes available for season-long surf club partnerships, sponsorships, or carnival weekends. ABN: 88 553 701 824.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking date. The remaining balance is due on or before shoot day. Deposits are non-refundable if cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled shoot.

We Plan It
We lock in the date, location and package. For club events, we'll coordinate access, timing and anything else you need covered.
Shoot Day
I show up early with camera and CASA-registered drone ready, and shoot for however long the package covers — fast and unobtrusive.
Delivery
Edited photos and colour-graded video land in a private online gallery within 2–5 days, ready to download, print, or share.

FAQ
As early as possible for carnival days and peak-season weekends, since those dates fill up fast. For smaller sessions like training or nippers mornings, a couple of weeks' notice is usually enough. If you're not sure, just reach out and I'll let you know what's available.
I'm based on the Gold Coast and travel within 30km is included in every package. I regularly shoot further afield across South-East Queensland — just mention your location when you get in touch and I'll confirm travel arrangements.
